Hello and welcome! Thanks for visiting this website. We're Polly, David & James- otherwise known as Jolly Polly and the Pirates, a high energy, lively, fun, Suffolk based wedding function band and party band available to hire for your special events!
We've been performing throughout the UK since 2017 and what a time we've had, at weddings, parties and corporate events. We completely love it; it's a full time job for us, and we can't wait to share it with you!
Our repertoire is an exciting mix of classic sing along rocking party tunes that we blend with all the latest rock, pop and punk dancefloor fillers. The typical Jolly Polly and the Pirates gig is exploding with fun and energy - with three part harmony vocals and an amazing sound. There really is something for everyone here. We also provide background music in between performances, or if you prefer, we can even provide a DJ with live vocals and percussion, and are also able to offer acoustic music for your drinks reception.
Key to our success as a band is our belief that high quality, high energy, wedding bands and party bands need not cost the earth! We aim to be able to offer a service that can meet all budgets, so do get in touch to discuss your needs. We're also different from other bands in that we can play at a volume to suit the room and your guests. You need it a bit quieter? That's fine. We aren't divas that can only play at, and demand to play at full volume all the time. This is your party after all and we want you to enjoy it!

Sound Limiter Friendly
For venues that have sound limiters, we have a scalable PA system and can use an electronic drum kit to adapt our sound to any venue. Our drummer is also highly skilled at playing quietly - a rare skill among drummers, keeping the band volume down where necessary.
Safe, Secure Bookings
We are an independent Suffolk Wedding Band (so there are no extra fees) with years of experience providing wedding entertainment in the UK. Our bookings are secured with a contract for your peace of mind. We are happy to answer any questions about the band and offer advice to help ensure things run smoothly. Once your booking is in place you are very welcome to chat with us directly. We treat each event with individual care and attention to your requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any requests made.
